Becki Newton

Becki was born at Guilford, Connecticut. She started performing in local shows and in the summer stock theatre at 13. Then she spent a number of semesters studying European History in the University of Pennsylvania. Becki relocated to NYC soon after graduation in order in order to pursue Broadway. Following her appearance in many national commercials as well as guest star parts, such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and American Dreams (2002), she landed the role of Amanda in Ugly Betty (2006). The actress is married to actress Chris Diamantopoulos, and her brother is actor Matt Newton. They're beautiful, but not supermodels. Due to my lack of experience that I have, I've decided to leave the red carpet and workplace events to professional. In terms of my style, I'm no frightened to try different things. It's a pleasure to be glamorous! It's about preparing yourself for the day. not about being a fussy person. Self-care is more important. There's nothing wrong with being in the middle.
