Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born and raised in DeForest and is now residing in Los Angeles. She graduated from DeForest Area High in DeForest in 1993. Then, in 1997 she earned an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. The year 2001 was the time she earned the title of Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University. Anders was involved in a romantic relationship with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met during the filming of Joey) as her former co-star from the series that ended in a cancellation. Sean Anders directed her in the movies "Sex Drive" and "Never Been Thawed". Anders' career began in the theatre in the year 2001. In the Broadway production Proof, she was Mary Louise Parker's understudy. Later in The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. Additionally, she was on stage in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. Anders is also a part of Two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders made her debut as a character in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. Fat Pig was closed by July 1, 2007. The character she played was Jeannie, an accountant. Anders first TV appearance was in an Dannon advertisement which ran through the mid-90s. She then appeared again about 2006. Anders' most famous characters include Nicole Allen, a former football player's spouse as in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). In both instances she appeared in all of the episodes, however they were both ended up being cancelled. Anders was also seen making appearances as a guest for One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. In 2003 she appeared as Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. She also made brief appearances on The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather and Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders appeared in Numb3rs (2008). Anders also starred in two failed television pilots. Spellbound was one, as was News To Me another. Anders' most recent role was on Better Off Ted. This is a comedy for the workplace with a single camera scripted by Victor Fresco and broadcast on ABC.
